Audiobook Challenge 2019

So I am a little slow of the mark and have only just found this fun challenge run by Hot Listens and Caffeinated Reviewer – the details of which can be found here

2019 Audiobook Challenge

I’ve only started listening to audiobooks this year, so while I am about 9 months late for this challenge, I still wanted to have a go at sharing what I’ve been listening to and seeing where I fall in the achievement levels:

  • Newbie (I’ll give it a try) 1-5
  • Weekend Warrior (I’m getting the hang of this) 5-10
  • Stenographer (can listen while multitasking) 10-15
  • Socially Awkward (Don’t talk to me) 15-20
  • Binge Listener (Why read when someone can do it for you) 20-30
  • My Precious (I had my earbuds surgically implanted) 30+
  • Marathoner (Look Ma No Hands) 50+

With only 3 months of this challenge left, here’s what I have been listening to this year:

  1. Love Does by Bob Goff
  2. Happier at Home by Gretchin rubin
  3. This Is How It Always Is by Laurie Frankel
  4. Where The Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens
  5. The Gifts of Imperfection by Brene Brown
  6. One Day in December by Josie Silver
  7. Becoming by Michelle Obama
  8. The Cactus by Sarah Haywood
  9. The Book Ninja by Ali Berg and Michelle Kalus
  10. The Girl He Used To Know by Tracey Garvis Graves
  11. Don’t You Forget About Me by Mhairi McFarlane
  12. The Family Next Door by Sally Hepworth
  13. It’s Not Me, It’s You by Mhairi McFarlane
  14. The Overdue Life of Amy Byler by Kelly Harms

Not quite socially awkward but pretty close. Hoping to at least a binge listener by the end of the year.

Are you participating in this challenge? How are you going with it? Let me know in the comments below. I’d love to hear from you.

Happy Listening!!
