A post to share all the bookish things I have been up to during the week – the books I’ve read; the books I’m currently reading and anything else remotely bookish and worth sharing. A simple post to check in with bookish friends and hear about their bookish week.
Happy Sunday bookish people!!! Hope you’ve had an amazing first week of December….I’ve been busy with lots of Christmas shopping by day……and plenty of reading by night.
Books read:
The Family Upstairs by Lisa Jewell – 5/5 – This book was brilliantly written and definitely one of my faves for the year. A wrote a little, no spoiler, review of this one here.
F*ck No! by Sarah Knight – 4/5 – This was my first NetGalley eARC but not my first time reading something from this author. A no nonsense, witty book about the art of saying no; perfect for a people pleaser and overachiever such as myself.
The Confession by Jessie Burton – 4/5 – Character driven and hard to put down; this was such an enjoyable read. Full review to come.
Currently reading:
- Little Women by Louisa May Alcott
- Quiet by Susan Cain
- Be Mighty by Jill A. Stoddard, PhD (NetGalley eARC)
- The Giver of Stars by Jojo Moyes (Audiobook)
