Top 5 Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by the lovely Shanah at Bionic Book Worm.
I’m a little late to the fun; being that it is already December; but I’d like to at least have a go before the end of the year. Today’s topic is Books I Didn’t Get To In 2019.
Oh so very many…..although my TBR pile is now non-existent….yes it can happen…..my ‘want to read’ list is beyond long and growing every day. Here are the top 5 I really wish I’d had the time/opportunity to read in 2019…these will be going straight to the top of the 2020 list.
The Starless Sea by Erin Morgenstern – This one is on my Christmas List and I’m keeping everything crossed that Santa comes through. I’m hoping to be able to pop it in my suitcase for the holidays.
Verity by Colleen Hoover – It was one of my many goals for 2019 to read something by Colleen Hoover, after seeing all the Hoover hype on Bookstagram but alas, I didn’t get to it this year.
Erotic Stories for Punjabi Widows by Balli Kaur Jaswal – This novel has spent too many months in my ‘want to read’ list; always getting overlooked by bright and shiny new releases. I have heard so many wonderful things about it and I’m sure I’ll fly through it once I actually pick it up.
The Grace Year by Kim Liggett – I’m completely drawn in by the cover…the story, the reviews and praise are all just a bonus.
The Most Fun We Ever Had by Claire Lombardo – I have wanted to read this novel since before it was released but …oh so many pages….I’ve been deterred by the 532 pages….when there are so many other wonderful books waiting to be read. Hopefully next year.
What books do you wish you had gotten to in 2019? I can’t wait to read everybody’s responses.

I wish I’d gotten to a tonne of different books this year that I already own…but I’m too moody plus those arcs keep tempting me!!! Just need the year to be longer lol!

Wouldn’t that be lovely…a longer year…and people to slow down on releasing such fabulously tempting books.
