Weekly bookish wrap up – 15/12/2019

A post to share all the bookish things I have been up to during the week – the books I’ve read; the books I’m currently reading and anything else remotely bookish and worth sharing. A simple post to check in with bookish friends and hear about their bookish week.

Happy Sunday bookish people!!!

Not lots of reading happening this week. With the working year coming to an end, reports sent out and Christmas crafts a-plenty; there have been many early nights. I’m excited tho that I managed to finish one book that I have been plugging away at for weeks.

Books read:

Quiet by Susan Cain – 3/5 – This book was such a slooooooooow read. I didn’t really start to enjoy it until Chapter 9…there’s only 12 chapters…so that’s not great. Those last few chapters were interesting but hardly new information; making this book pretty disappointing. For me, it didn’t really live up to the hype.

Have you read it?

Currently reading:

  • Little Women by Louisa May Alcott
  • Be Mighty by Jill A. Stoddard, PhD (NetGalley eARC)
  • The Giver of Stars by Jojo Moyes (Audiobook)

Top 5 Tuesday

What have you been reading this week? I’d love to hear from you.

Happy reading!
