A post to share all the bookish things I have been up to during the week – the books I’ve read; the books I’m currently reading and anything else remotely bookish and worth sharing. A simple post to check in with bookish friends and hear about their bookish week.
Happy Sunday bookish peeps!!!
It’s the first (weekly) bookish wrap up for 2020…since I’ve went on holidays; taking a break from all things blogging. And now that I’m back and blogging again I want to get back into sharing my weekly reads and bookish stuff.
2020 is going to be a big year for me …not just blog-wise…but in my personal life….my son turns 21 in May; in February my daughter will get her driver’s licence and will no longer need mum’s taxi services; we have a few weekends away planned and hopefully an overseas trip…destination to be determined. Plus all the usual work and study things. Hubby and I have decided to support each other in getting a bit fitter; going back to walking early in the mornings. And I want to learn more about yoga and include a daily practice into my routine.
Reading wise, I’ve already started the year in spectacular fashion; reading 5/75 books – most of them 4 star reads.
Books read:
Prior to this week:
- Night Music by Jojo Moyes – 4/5
- How To Be Second Best – 4/5
- Forever Interrupted by Taylor Jenkins Reid
- The Subjects by Sarah Hopkins
This week:
Silver Sparrow by Tayari Jones – 4/5 – Review to come.

Currently reading:
- The Gifted School by Bruce Holsinger (Audiobook)
- A Good Neighborhood by Therese Anne Fowler (NetGalley eARC)
Bookish posts:
My Bookish Year – wrapping up 2019
Book Review: Forever Interrupted by Taylor Jenkins Reid

A good neighborhood looks like a good read!
