Here’s a weekly meme hosted by Sam @ Taking on a World of Words. All you have to do is answer 3 questions:

What are you currently reading?

What did you recently finish reading?

What do you think you will read next?

Link your blog in the comments at Sam’s weekly post and then go blog hopping to find out what others are reading.

Here’s my 3 W’s:

Currently reading:

The Gifted School by Bruce Holsinger…still listening to this on audio….got a little bit sidetracked by my daughter introducing me to Luke Combs on Spotify…now every time I get in the car all I want to do is listen to country music and sing my heart out instead of reading….sorrynotsorry.

And that’s all I’m reading at the moment. I just finished an outstanding book last night and I’m recovering….unsure what book to pick up next that might be able to compare.

Recently finished:

Silver Sparrow by Tayari Jones…A slow and deliberate narrative; rich in detail; which delivers an honest account of the times – 1980s Atlanta – through beautifully written characters. I don’t want to say too much as I’m currently working on a review for this novel, hopefully to be published in the next few days, but I will say that I definitely want to read more from this author.

A Good Neighborhood by Therese Anne Fowler…A NetGalley eARC that absolutely took my breath away…I can’t recommend this novel highly enough…and of course I will be reviewing it very soon.

Up next:

Um……..I would love to finally start The Starless Sea by Erin Morgenstern. With the Australia Day Long Weekend in just a few days, maybe this is the perfect time to lose myself in this book.

What are your 3 W’s this Wednesday? Let me know below and….. Happy reading!

  1. Hey, Kyles!
That sounds like a great list although I haven’t read any of them.
But the cover of Silver Sparrow looks magnificent. I have heard of Starless Sea as well but I don’t really know what it is about.
Anyway, I hope you have a great time reading all those books. πŸ™‚

  2. Awww you get a long weekend soon? I need to move to Australia. No, wait, I take that back. Your entire continent is fighting back against humans with some really creative animal warfare, and I’m not ready for that. xD But I’m still jealous.

I want to read The Starless Sea, too! I hope you’re able to get to it. Happy reading.

    Here’s my WWW post.

Started The Starless Sea last night and I’m having all these weird feelings already….my heart is doing odd things in my chest…I’m not sure how I’m going to drag myself away from it to go to work.
