Top 5 Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by the lovely Shanah at Bionic Book Worm.
I’m super excited to be participating in Top 5 Tuesday this month especially since March is a themed month. YAY!!
And what is the theme? The ABC’s of Authors.
This week we’re starting at the beginning of the alphabet and naming some of our favourite authors starting with A, B, C, D & E.
Over the course of March there may be some letters that I don’t have an authors last name for or I may want to highlight an author by their first name…so this list could be a bit of a mix. Either way, writing this post will be fun and hopefully you’ll enjoy reading it each week.
Thanks to Shanah for bringing us such an brilliant theme!
Let’s get to it!
A is for Alice Hoffman – Practical Magic, The Rules of Magic, The Museum of Extraordinary Things – absolutely magical writing.

B is for Jessie Burton – The Confession, The Miniaturist and The Muse – I have to confess I’ve only read The Confession so far; the other two novels are in my tbr. But if the covers are anything to go by, I’m pretty certain Jessie Burton will become one of my favourite authors in the near future.

C is for Celeste Ng – Everything I Never Told You and Little Fires Everywhere – two of my favourite books from 2019.

D is for Emma Donoghue – Room and Delia Owens – Where the Crawdads Sing…both so good I couldn’t choose between them.

E is for Kim Edwards – The Memory Keeper’s Daughter and The Lake of Dreams – again I’ve only read one of these; the other sits in my tbr.

Which authors are in your ABC?
I’m looking forward to reading everyone’s posts and maybe finding a new ‘must-read’ author or two.
I haven;t read from any of these.. I’m interested in Alice Hoffman’s work though!

I had same E! Only just found The Lake Dreams so, not read it yet. Read Memory Keeper’s Daughter Daughter and liked it enough to keep rather than send to charity shop so hope I like other one too.

I adore Alice Hoffman – she wasn’t on this weeks list but she’s featuring under the ‘H!’ Practical Magic and The Museum of Extraordinary Things are my favourites of hers.
