WWW Wednesday 11/3/2020

Welcome to WWW Wednesday, a weekly meme hosted by Sam @ Taking on a World of Words.

What do you have to do to join in?

It’s pretty simple….all you have to do is answer the 3 W’s:

What are you currently reading?

What did you recently finish reading?

What do you think you will read next?

Link your blog in the comments at Sam’s weekly post and then go blog hopping to find out what others are reading.

I’m a tad late with this one…sidetracked by rearranging my whole blog yesterday….but the blog looks and feels better aaaaaannnndddd…..it’s Wednesday somewhere, right? …..So here’s my 3 W’s for this week:

Currently reading:

Finally going to start reading The Switch by Beth O’Leary this week. I’ve had the eARC sitting on my Kindle app for too long. Also starting to listen to Normal People by Sally Rooney on audio this week. I’ve never read anything written by this author but I have heard good things. Plus the audiobook was FREE, so YAY!!! Who doesn’t love a free book?

The Baby Signing Bible by Laura Berg is something I’m interested in reading for work. Although this book is about American Sign Language, I am still interested in what it has to say regarding the theory behind using sign with babies and will most likely follow this read up with research into Auslan. I have studied some sign language in the past and want to extend my knowledge, so this book will probably remain on this list for a few weeks to come.

Recently finished:

  • With The Fire On High – Elizabeth Acevedo (Audiobook)⭐⭐⭐⭐
  • Don’t Overthink It – Anne Bogel (Audiobook) ⭐⭐⭐
  • The Care and Feeding of Ravenously Hungry Girls – Anissa Gray ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Up next:

I have ordered these two Jessie Burton novels online and am eagerly awaiting their arrival. Once they arrive, they’ll go straight to the top of the TBR pile.

Hope you have a wonderfully bookish week.

Happy reading!
