Hello, hello bookish peeps!
Here we go…wrapping up yet another month. A month of uncertainty and an untold amount of panic and anxiety worldwide. Of isolation, social distancing and toilet paper shortages. A month filled with books…and reading…and blogpost writing.
March has been my biggest reading month of the year so far…..and I’m not even on isolation…..YET!
Books read: 10 books – 6 audiobooks, 2 eARC and 2 paperbacks
- Who’s That Girl – Mhairi McFarlane ⭐⭐⭐⭐
- The Lonely Fajita – Abigail Mann ⭐⭐⭐⭐
- With the Fire on High – Elizabeth Acevedo ⭐⭐⭐⭐
- Don’t Overthink It – Anne Bogel ⭐⭐⭐
- The Care and Feeding of Ravenously Hungry Girls – Anissa Gray ⭐⭐⭐⭐
- Normal People – Sally Rooney ⭐⭐⭐⭐
- The Switch – Beth O’Leary ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
- An American Marriage – Tayari Jones ⭐⭐⭐⭐
- Verity – Colleen Hoover ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
- This will only hurt a little – Busy Philipps ⭐⭐⭐
Pages read: 3824
Favourite read: The Switch – Beth O’Leary
Least favourite read: This will only hurt a little – Busy Philipps
Longest read: Who’s That Girl? – Mhairi McFarlane (544 pages)
Shortest read: Don’t Overthink It – Anne Bogel (224 pages)
Most read genre: Chick-lit – I’ve been aiming for light and funny during what feels like such a long month. March has certainly dragged on and it’s good to be able to just relax and let a book wash over you.
Most read format: Audiobook – similar to the above, I’m finding I’m much more motivated to listen to a book than to actually hold a physical book in my hands.
Goodreads Reading Challenge: 25/75 – I’m pretty chuffed that it’s the end of the third month and I am already a third of the way through the challenge.
How are you going with your Goodreads goal?
What was your favourite book of March? Any recommendations for my April tbr?

Looks like a good reading month! I hope April is even better!
