Monthly bookish wrap up: April 2020

How has your April been? I hope you’re all keeping well and safe, taking care of yourselves and your families.

Mine has been quiet….I’ve had to drop hours at work which you might think would give me more time to read or blog but it’s done the exact opposite….I’ve found I’m more anxious and less motivated than I’ve been in a long time. I’m spending way too much time randomly scrolling through Pinterest without really taking much of it in, eating Easter eggs and watching re-runs of NCIS and Criminal Minds.

I’ve still been reading but definitely not like I normally would. My concentration has been lacking and I’ve really had to force myself to pick up a book….even the good books…and there have been quite a few this month. It seems once I put a book down I have to talk myself into picking it back up even if I am loving it. So that’s kind of sucking atm.

Anyone else finding that they are struggling to enjoy reading during this pandemic?
