Top 10 Tuesday – The Last 10 Books I Abandoned

Happy Tuesday bookish people!!

Today I thought I would attempt the Top 10 Tuesday hosted by the lovely Jana at That Artsy Reader Girl.

I RARELY participate in this meme but I love to read everyone’s answers so I’ve decided I’d like to get involved.

Not usually one to DNF a book…in fact, I think I’ve only done it once or twice….I’ve decided to share the last 10 books I ditched from my Goodreads ‘want to read’ list. Most of these I lost interest in because they were on the list way too long or I’ve just found too many other books I’d prefer to read. Some I’m not sure why I put them on the list, some I’ve seen reviewed and changed my mind…..life’s too short to read ‘bad’ books…and one I saw the movie so I don’t need to read the book…sorry, not sorry!

Here’s the 10 books I most recently abandoned:

All The Bright things by Jennifer Niven

The Lake of Dreams by Kim Edwards

The Silent Patient by Alex Michaelides

Behind Closed Doors by B A Paris

The Humans by Matt Haig

The Year of Less by Cait Flanders

Frankly In Love by David Yoon

Yes, No, Maybe So by Becky Albertalli & Aisha Saeed

The Mercies by Kiran Millwood Hargrave

An Anonymous Girl by Greer Hendricks & Sarah Pekkanen

Are any of these on your abandoned list? Or have you read and enjoyed them?

  1. I HATED Frankly in Love so totally am with you on DNFing that one. I only stuck it out because ….well you know me, I like a rant review ๐Ÿ™ˆ๐Ÿ˜‚ I did however really like The Mercies but I think Kiran is a very much love her or loathe her type of author because I loathed her book The Deathless Girls! ๐Ÿ™ˆ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿงก๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’œ
