What’s on my TBR?

When I decided to return to blogging, and hence reading, I never realised how quickly this little hobby of mine would take over my life again. I have been devouring books, reading up to 4 and 5 hours a day and absolutely loving it. Reading and blogging have once again become a much needed respite from everything else that has been going on in my life (switching jobs, building a house, empty nesting, new puppy training).

At the end of last year, I had a tiny TBR of only 5-6 books and I was happy plodding along, reading a book here or there, whenever the mood struck me. I was comfortable reading a book or two each month, maybe listening to an audiobook as I travelled to and from work. Now, having read 15 books in 8 weeks I think it’s safe to say I have crossed back over. Returning to something that I truly love to do, after underestimating how much I might have missed it.

Every day I find myself scrolling through Goodreads, NetGalley and other bloggers posts, adding new books to my TBR with such regularity I have no idea how I will ever keep up.

So with that all said, I have created a new page where I can document my 2023 TBR, updating it regularly with new books needing to be read. I’ll also be able to check off and rate books as I make my way through this ever growing list. But first, I’d like to share what was on my 2022 TBR list coming into 2023 and what has been added over January and February.

So yeah…that’s a LOT!!

Admittedly many of these I have read since adding them to the pile, but as the list is backdated, they still remain listed until my March TBR post.

What state is your TBR in? Better or worse than mine?
