It's been such a long time and I'm ready for a new beginning and a new look.
Ended 2020 with this ⭐⭐⭐⭐ read - The Unlikely Adventures of the Shergill Sisters by Balli Kaur Jaswal, author of Erotic Stories for Punjabi Widows.
Finally picked up a book...or two. Grabbed these 2 while second-hand book shopping with hubby....can't wait to start reading again.
Cats make the best reading companions. Sarabi supporting as I get back into the habit of reading after too long of a break....I think she just likes it when I sit still.
Currently reading The Rearranged Life of Oona Lockhart by Margarita Montimore...started this book a while ago - read 1 chapter, got sidetracked by my Kindle app, read 3 other books - but now I'm determined to read and enjoy this book. 🤞
Currently reading Happy & You Know It by Laura Hankin.....currently singing If you're happy and you know it clap your hands....can't look at this cover without breaking into song...
I may or may not have been book shopping....
Throwing back to one of my favourite reads of 2019....Where The Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐.....so many mixed opinions about this novel within the bookish community but I loved it...definitely lived up to the hype for me.
