20 Books of Summer 2025

Whilst it’s winter here in Australia, I am excited to participate in the 20 Books of Summer Challenge this year. Hosted by Annabel @ AnnaBookBel and Emma @ Words and Peace, the #20BooksofSummer2025 runs from 1st June to 31st August.

The Rules:

  • The first rule of 20 Books is that there are no real rules, other than signing up for 10, 15 or 20 books and trying to read from your TBR.
  • Pick your list in advance, nominate a bookcase to read from, or pick at whim from your TBR.
  • If you do pick a list, you can change it at any time – swap books in/out.
  • Don’t get panicked at not reaching your target. Instead enjoy a summer of great reading and maybe make a bit of space on your shelves!

This year I have chosen to read the full 20 books of Summer, however to keep this challenge realistically doable I will only be pre-deciding 10 of the books I want to read, leaving the other 10 open for mood reading.

This year’s list:

  1. Finlay Donovan is Killing It by Elle Cosimano – ★★★★
  2. The Ick by Holly McCulloch – ★★★★
