Bookish Goals for 2024

I’ve given myself a little time to settle into the new year and now it’s time to set some goals – life goals, reading goals and blogging goals.

Let’s start with the life goals because they are actually probably the easiest:

Life Goals:

This year I plan on prioritising my health and wellbeing – slowing down a bit and enjoying life more. Taking better care of myself physically, mentally and spiritually.

What this looks like:

  • Renewing my love for creating delicious, healthy meals
  • Eating mindfully, meal prepping and planning so that I don’t eat so much junk
  • Joining and going to the gym with my daughter
  • Daily puppy walks
  • Doing what I love – reading, blogging, travelling, spending time with family and friends
  • Letting the housework slide – just a little

Reading goals:

  • Read 60 books this year
  • Read a little (or a lot) every day
  • Listen to audiobooks every chance I get – in the car, at the gym, out walking
  • Read what interests me – don’t be afraid to DNF books that fall short
  • Plan my reading/reading challenges
  • Keep my TBR in check

Blogging goals:

  • Create a blogging schedule and stick to it
  • Engage with other bloggers more – read, like, comment
  • Share more of me with bookish friends – I am more than the latest book I am reading
  • Be more engaging and interactive
  • Don’t be afraid to try new things – new post ideas, tags, challenges etc.
  • Decide – “will I /won’t I” go back on Bookstagram – it’s been a while.

There they are…my 2024 goals set out in black and white.

Have you set your goals for the year yet? Link your goal post or if you don’t have a post just let me know in the comments.

I look forward to sharing your reading journey in 2024.
