Hosted by Reading Reality, Stacking the Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, whether they be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, ARCs, gifts and of course e-books! And audiobooks. Don’t forget audiobooks!
In other words, if you can read it or if it can be read to you – no matter how you got it – it belongs in Stacking the Shelves.
Let’s take a peek at what I purchased, downloaded or received in December.
Physical books:
I purchased the first 3 books in the Rebel Blue Ranch series, mostly because of the covers and how good they look together on the shelf. I also bought the first books in the Lakefront Billionaires series and the Lovelight series on recommendations from bookish friends.
Audiobooks:
I downloaded seven audiobooks – the last two novels in the Part of your World series; Nobody’s Perfect by Sally Kilpatrick; Fredrik Backman’s novella The Answer is No; The Moonflowers by Abigail Rose-Marie; Variation by Rebecca Yarros and Starling House by Alix E Harrow. Four of these I have already read and thoroughly enjoyed.
E-books:
As for e-books, I continued the series theme and downloaded the last three novellas in the Under the Mistletoe Collection.
ARCs:
And I only have 1 new ARC – Boy with Wings by Mark Mustian – while I take a slow approach to ARC collecting.
