Hosted by Reading Reality, Stacking the Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, whether they be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, ARCs, gifts and of course e-books! And audiobooks. Don’t forget audiobooks!
In other words, if you can read it or if it can be read to you – no matter how you got it – it belongs in Stacking the Shelves.
Let’s take a peek at what I purchased, downloaded or received in January.
Physical books:
Only 3 physical books this month with a leaning towards non-fiction reads of the self-help/health variety.
- What you are looking for is in the library by Michiko Aoyama
- The Let Them Theory by Mel Robbins
- Food for Menopause by Dr Linia Patel, PhD
Audiobooks:
I downloaded the cutest witchy romance collection and …more non-fiction – memoirs this time.
- Best Hex Ever Collection by Kate Johnson
- The Electricity of Every Living Thing by Katherine May
- We are the Stars by Gina Chick

E-books:
I intentionally avoided scrolling through the Kindle Unlimited catalogue this month, resolving to read what I already have downloaded. Wish me luck!
ARCs:
I was excited to receive two ARCs that I’d been desperately hoping to get this month:
- It’s a Love Story by Annabel Monaghan
- Say You’ll Remember Me by Abby Jimenez
What books did you add to your shelves this month? What are you looking forward to reading soon?
