Happy Sunday bookish peeps!
I missed last week’s wrap up, focusing on my Monthly Wrap Up for February so this is technically wrapping up a week and a bit. I’ve been busy focusing on preparing for my surgery and short hospital stay. I’ve been shopping for comfy, hospital appropriate sleepwear and easy to get on and off slippers, so that I’m physically ready. To prepare mentally, I have been researching as much as I can so that I know what to expect from the procedure and the recovery.
I’ve had a fairly social week…for me….with both of my children coming over for dinner, brekkie with my sister before work and a family catch up. It’s been wonderful to spend time chatting and hanging out with the people I love.
Bookish things:
Over the last nine days, I’ve read 3 books.
- Lost and Lassoed by Lyla Sage (Paperback)
- We All Live Here by Jojo Moyes (Audiobook)
- Say You’ll Remember Me by Abby Jimenez (ARC)
I’m currently reading Beautiful Ugly by Alice Feeney and I’ve just downloaded The Fall Risk by Abby Jimenez.
Bookish Challenges:
2025 Goodreads Reading Challenge: 20/75 books
Audiobook Challenge: 11/50 audiobooks
Non Fiction Reader Challenge: 2/12 books
And that’s my bookish week. How was yours?

I hope things go well with your surgery. I typically wear loungewear type super loose sweats for the hospital/post surgery and fuzzy socks. I hope you find what you are looking for. It’s nice that you were able to spend time with your family. Your doing great on you challenges. Have a great week!

Thanks Carla. Home from the hospital now and being very cautious with my body. Still in a fair amount of pain and napping lots. First day today being able to wear loose pants but they tell me I’m doing well.
Hope you’ve had a wonderful week of reading.
