Currently reading:
Broken Country by Clare Leslie Hall – STILL! I find myself spending a lot of time zoned out in front of the TV, watching re-runs of house renovation shows. I’m a big fan of Fixer to Fabulous so I haven’t really been audiobooking lately.
Recently finished:
Mr Wrong Number by Lynn Painter (paperback) – ★★★★ – The fact that I read this series the wrong way around did not detract from the perfection that is this swoon-worthy romance. I don’t know why it’s taken me so long to read this author, being that romance is my go-to genre, but I will be looking for more books by Lynn Painter in the future. If you have any recommendations, let me know.
Best, First and Last by Amy T Matthews (ARC) – ★★★★ – I admit to being half-hearted about reading this book when I received it but it turned out to be quite the journey – the bickering, the backstories, the generational trauma and self-discovery kept me reading late into the night.
What next?:
I’ve been shopping again and purchased the last two books of the Lovelight series by B K Borison. I love this series and look forward to curling up and letting this small town romance take me away. I’m hoping to start reading Mixed Signals tonight. .
