TBR Tackle Challenge Catch Up

The TBR Tackle Challenge is hosted by Books are 42 on Instagram with the goal to read the books that you already own and to “tackle your TBR.”

Every month, there are five prompts to help you decide what books to read from your existing TBR. You can use the same book for multiple prompts, and you don’t have to pick books for all of the prompts if you don’t want to.

This year I’ve been attempting to “tackle my TBR”, not because it’s unmanageable, but because the monthly prompts add an element of fun and challenge, however, I’ve been a bit slack getting the blogposts written. So here’s a little catch up post.

I managed to complete 3/5 prompts in February and 4/5 prompts in March.

February prompts and reading:

Starts with C or D:

Revisit or Reread:

Pink on the cover: Margo’s Got Money Troubles by Rupi Thorpe

Friendship themes: Hex and the City by Kate Johnson

Romance: Hex and Hexability by Kate Johnson

March prompts and reading:

Starts with E or F: The Fall Risk by Abby Jimenez

Celebrity: Beautiful Ugly by Alice Feeney

Book you’ve been putting off: It’s a Love Story by Annabel Monaghan

Green or Gold on the cover: Lost and Lassoed by Lyla Sage

YA Book:

The prompts for April are:

Starts with G or H:

Food on the cover:

Funny book:

Pastel cover:

Set in Europe:

I’m not sure what I plan to read this month to fill these prompts. I normally just read and if something fits I slot it in. Wish me luck!
