Weekly Bookish Wrap Up: 13th April 2025

Happy Sunday bookish peeps!

Another quiet week at home, recovering. I’ve spent the week watching doco-series on Disney + and Netflix, in awe of some of the things that go on in the world. I’ve begun two different series – A Good American Family and Only Murders in the Building – that I’m captivated by.

During this time, I’ve been tidying up my own personal social media – deleting pages and groups that no longer are relevant or don’t fit who I am any more. I’ve given my blog socials a bit of a makeover and have begun to post again on Bookstagram. How long that will last, I don’t know but I’m definitely enjoying spending more time building my blog. Now my number 1 hobby, outside of reading, I’ve been spending a lot of time writing blogposts and reviews.

Bookish things:

This week I’ve read 2 books, one non-fiction and the final book in the Lovelight series – Business Casual by B K Borison. I was a bit lost for a day or two after finishing the series, not knowing what to read next. I tried a couple of books but nothing really grabbed me until I picked up The Fiance Dilemma by Elena Armas. I’m only about a third of the way through this book and have already laughed out loud more than a few times, getting me out of my Inglewild funk.

  • Business Casual by B K Borison (Paperback) – Possibly my favourite in the series – B K Borison saved the best till last.
  • The Art of Home by Shea MCGee (Hardcover) – Home design and inspiration for our new..ish home.
  • The Fiance Dilemma by Elena Armas (Paperback) – Once again I’m reading the second book in the series first…I didn’t realise it was part of a series. I’ll have to get the first book now and read the series backwards.

Bookish Challenges:

2025 Goodreads Reading Challenge: 32/75 books

Audiobook Challenge: 12/50 audiobooks

Non Fiction Reader Challenge: 3/12 books

And that’s my bookish week. How was yours?
