Happy Sunday bookish peeps!
I hope you’ve all had a wonderfully bookish week.
I’ve had a super productive week around my home – shuffling things from room to room and attempting to set up spaces that look somewhat finished in our virtually empty house. I’ve been looking at recipes and dreaming of all the wonderful things I want to make, now that I’ve replaced my old dead slow cooker. I also purchased an air fryer which I have no idea how to use but I’m excited to work it out.
Today I started doing a little research – Etsy browsing and YouTube watching – on digital planners. I have attempted this in the past but only very briefly, so I want to give it another try, hoping that having everything in one place might help me stay organised. Do you use a digital planner? How do you find it?
Bookish things:
Slightly better than last week, I read 3 books, each better than last week’s reads.
I finished another book on my Kindle backlist – The Summer of Yes by Courtney Walsh. I have only read one other of this author’s books and found it just as enjoyable as this one. I have the ARC of her latest book sitting on my NetGalley shelf waiting to be read some time this month….hopefully.
I read The Baby Dragon Cafe by A T Qureshi as a random pick up from our local Big W. It was a cute and easy read; the first book in a series of three, I think.
Last but not least, I read Great Big Beautiful Life by Emily Henry. It was a little different to her usual novels but I still enjoyed it, although it will never be one of my favourite EH novels.
This coming week, I am listening to Summer Romance by Annabel Monaghan while still reading Wild Love by Elsie Silver. I also plan on starting the ARC for Everything’s Coming Up Rosie by Courtney Walsh.
