He Would Never is a searing page-turner about the bonds we forge in the furnace of early motherhood, the trust we place in other adults, and the chaos that erupts when one man refuses to play by the rules.

Why do I want to read it?:

Honestly, I was completely drawn in by the cover and the promise of a page turner. I have read two other books from this author – I Give My Marriage a Year and The Couple Upstairs – so I’m interested to see how this book fares against both of those.

This week’s reading progress:

This week was a slower week for reading. Although I still managed to get two books read, my mind has been on other things…still. Every spare bit of time has been spent researching digital planning, which appears to be my current ‘special interest’. I’m not at all bothered by this slow down, being that I am already 2/3 of my way to my Goodreads Challenge goal, in fact I’m embracing it because sometimes you just need a change of pace.
