Currently reading:

I’m still struggling to pick up a physical book or even my Kindle, so I haven’t made a lot of progress on The Ick by Holly McCulloch or Slow Burn Summer by Josie Silver. I have, however, been listening to audiobooks and have found a new author I enjoy – Carley Fortune.

Recently finished:

I listened to the Once Upon a Bookshop Series by Alice Hoffman in quick succession. At only 35-40 pages each, they took no time at all to listen to. I’m not normally a short story kind of person and I do kinda wish these stories were more fleshed out but they were still enjoyable. An easy three stars each.

What next?:

Now that I’ve found Carley Fortune, I want to read her latest book One Golden Summer, published in May this year. I have already downloaded it and I’m excited to begin it, once I finish Every Summer After.
