happy Tag Thursday!
Today, I want to do the Roll the Dice Book Challenge, a simple challenge that comes from Bookstagram and bought over to the blogging community by Books are 42.
The prompts:
- Favourite Stand-Alone
- Favourite Sequel
- Favourite Trilogy
- Favourite Four Word Title
- Last Five Star Read
- Six Books I Recommend
Favourite Stand-Alone
The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue by V E Schwab
This is one of the most memorable stand-alone books I have read. I loved this book and still rave about it to anyone who will listen. It opened my eyes to the fantasy/romantasy genre which I would definitely like to read more of in the future.

Favourite Sequel
No One was Supposed to Die at This Wedding by Catherine Mack
Usually I can be a bit disappointed in a sequel, but not with this series, which is so different from anything that I would normally read. The writing style is unusual, the story fast-paced and the characters are quirky. I can’t wait for there to be more books in this series.

Favourite Trilogy
Love Lines by Cara Bastone
With three books in the series – Call Me Maybe, Sweet Talk and Seat Mate (each one a little better than the one before) – this trilogy is my favourite for romance. I love the banter between each of the couples forced together by circumstances out of their control. These books were sweet, funny and so much fun.

Favourite Four Word Title
Great Big Beautiful Life by Emily Henry
I love this title because this is what I aspire to…living a great big beautiful life. A life I want to remember and where I am remembered fondly by the people who know me. My second option for this prompt would be How to Age Disgracefully by Clare Pooley.

Last Five Star Read
This year has been without many five star reads….only 3 all year…the latest being No One was Supposed to Die at This Wedding by Catherine Mack. The first book in this series was also a five star read.

Six Books I Recommend
Narrowing this down to six is not easy when there are whole series of books that I highly recommend, but here are the first six stand-alone novels that come to mind:
- The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue by V E Schwab
- This Is How It Always Is by Laurie Frankel
- Starling House by Alix E. Harrow
- The Unmaking of June Farrow by Adrienne Young
- Remarkably Bright Creatures by Shelby Van Pelt
- Weyward by Emilia Hart

Now it’s your turn.
I’m not planning on tagging anyone in particular but if you would like to do this tag, please link back to this post so that I can read your responses.
