Monthly Bookish Wrap Up – June 2025

And just like that another month is done. Gone in a blur of work, family commitments and audiobooks.

I’m still struggling to read any other format besides audio. Falling asleep early every night and sleeping in late every morning, my body and brain, both, just want to hibernate in Winter. I find it so hard to stay motivated when it’s cold and dark outside. All I can manage to do is curl up under a warm blanket with the pups and nap.

Having said that, I have powered through, reading 11 audiobooks, 1 ARC and 1 very short non-fiction book.

Books read:

  • Sweet Talk by Cara Bastone – ★★★★
  • Seat Mate by Cara Bastone – ★★★★
  • The Love Haters by Katherine Center – ★★★★
  • Everything’s Coming Up Rosie by Courtney Walsh (ARC) – ★★★
  • Houseplants and Their F**ked-Up Thoughts by Carlyle Christoff and Elisabeth Saake – ★★
  • No One Was Supposed to Die at this Wedding by Catherine Mack – ★★★★★
  • Finlay Donovan is Killing It by Elle Cosimano – ★★★★
  • The Bookstore Sisters by Alice Hoffman – ★★★
  • The Bookstore Wedding by Alice Hoffman – ★★★
  • The Bookstore Keepers by Alice Hoffman – ★★★
  • The Bookstore Family by Alice Hoffman – ★★★
  • Every Summer After by Carley Fortune – ★★★★
