Happy Sunday bookish peeps!
My Weekly Bookish Wrap Up is linked with the Sunday Salon and the Sunday Post.
The Sunday Salon is a meme hosted by Readerbuzz and is a place to link up and share what you have been doing during the week. It’s also a great opportunity to visit other blogs and join in the conversations going on there. While the Sunday Post is a meme hosted by Caffeinated Reviewer and is a chance to share news. It’s a post to recap the past week on your blog and share news about what is coming up on your blog for the week ahead.

Non-bookish things:
It’s been another beautiful week here weatherwise, except for one day where the winds were wild and it felt like snow. On that day I would have given anything to stay home from work but I rugged up and forced myself to go in.
My son is still on his adventure. He saw Oasis at their first homecoming gig in Manchester, his whole reason for the trip, but has now trotted off to Paris for a few days. He sounds like he is having a blast and it’s making me really want a holiday. Not that I’ll be going to Paris. We are planning a weekend getaway for my birthday in August which I’m really looking forward to.
Back at home, I’ve been busy sorting out different areas of my house. I’ve pulled out all my winter clothes and put them away, while all my summer clothes have been unceremoniously dumped on the guest bed for another day. I gave our bedroom a full tidy and air out while it was sunny, setting up the cat’s new area for sleeping and putting new linen on our bed. I almost can’t wait till bedtime. Our new quilt cover is kinda fluffy, and I’m hoping it helps me sleep better being all snugly.
Slow Cooker Sunday
Today, I’m cooking an old favourite – braised steak and onions – and my hubby is going to make mash potatoes to go with. He actually makes the best mash I’ve ever had and it’s become a bit of a comfort food. Whenever I’m feeling a bit low, hubby makes me mash potatoes, enough for dinner and to take to work the next day.
Bookish things:
Again with the audiobooks…I listened to The Woman Who Met Herself by Laura Pearson and The Ex-Wives Club by Sally Hepworth. I’m still reading Clementine Crane Prefers Not To by Kirstin Bair and I’m halfway through the next Finlay Donovan novel – Finlay Donovan Jumps the Gun by Elle Cosimano.
