Mackenzie “Mac” Cabot is a people pleaser. Her demanding parents. Her prep school friends. Her long-time boyfriend. It’s exhausting, really, always following the rules. Why do I want to read it?:

I’ve wanted to try an Elle Kennedy romance but was reluctant to purchase one at full price just in case it wasn’t my thing. Luckily, I found this one secondhand while op shopping on the weekend, snatching it up for $3 and adding it to my TBR.

I’m hoping to start both a new paperback – What If I Never get Over You by Paige Toon – and a new non-fiction – The Menopause Brain by Lisa Mosconi PhD. I’m also about to start The Undertaking of Hart and Mercy by Megan Bannen on audio. New books all round to start the week!!
