Who doesn’t love a good game of this or that?
I found this tag posted at Lost in Storyland, who found it at Feed Your Fiction Addiction. It seemed like a bit of fun and I wanted to have a play….so here goes…
Reading on the couch or in the bed? On the couch, curled up with a coffee and at least one of the cats snuggled into my side.
Male main character or female main character? I usually gravitate to books with female main characters. I find them easier to relate to and much more enjoyable.
Sweet snacks or salty snacks when reading? I don’t normally eat when I’m reading…but I do drink multiple cups of coffee. If I desperately had to eat something, it would be something covered in salt….potato chips, nuts, crackers….
Trilogies or quartets? Neither really. I don’t often read series…I think the last series I read was Twilight….a quartet that could easily have been a trilogy.
First or third person POV? Third person.
Reading at night or in the morning? Both….I read EVERY morning with my first coffee of the day and if I’m not too tired after work I’ll read before bed. I read in my lunch break and in the car. I read as much as I can, day or night.
Libraries or bookstore? This one is easy…..bookstore…I don’t even have a library card.
I prefer to take my time reading…not worrying about due dates and waiting in queue for books to come in. Plus, I hate opening a book and finding a stack of squished up crumbs inside….Ewwwww!
Books that make you laugh or books that make you cry? I love any book that can make me really feel something….whether I am laughing out loud or reaching for the tissues; the books that make me feel deeply are the ones I remember and recommend.
Black book covers or white? White….definitely white.
Character-driven or plot-driven books? I love a good character-driven story but it does still need to have a decent…ish plot to go with it.
