Top 5 Tuesday: Authors P, Q, R, S & T

Top 5 Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by the lovely Shanah at Bionic Book Worm and March is a themed month which I have been calling The ABC of Authors.

This week’s letters are P, Q, R, S & T.

Authors names can be first or last…or in my case a mix of both….it’s entirely up to you.

I’m sitting here looking at these letters and thinking oh dear!

Anyhoo…

Let’s give it a go…I suspect next week will be even more difficult than this.

P is for Ann Patchett – The Dutch House and Jodi Picoult – House Rules

Q is for NUP! I’ve got nothing!

R is for Rainbow Rowell…oh how I loved Eleanor & Park

S is for Dr Suess – The Lorax and two Sallys…..Sally Hepworth – The Secrets of Midwives and Sally Rooney – Normal People

T is for….oh it’s so hard not to double up….obviously there’s TJR and Tayari Jones but I used them in ‘J’…I don’t think I have a big enough list of authors/books that I’ve read to really do the alphabet justice….I haven’t read Tolkein or Twain or Tolstoy…I haven’t read Donna Tartt or Amy Tan……and plenty of other ‘T’ authors I’m sure.

This little experiment has shown me that I probably need to read more and read more widely…..a good little excuse to buy more books 😉
