Starling House by Alix E Harrow – Started it today and I’m already hooked. Love that it is so different to my usual read and that I’m branching out a little in 2025.
Done and Dusted by Lyla Sage – a slow burn western romance as a bedside read…what’s better?
Recently finished:
Love Redesigned by Lauren Asher (paperback) – ★★★★ – At 530 pages, it was probably a bit longer than it needed to be considering there wasn’t much to the plot – second chance romance, forced proximity, friends with benefits. An enjoyable read if you don’t want to have to think too much. Will I still read the series?…probably.
Nobody’s Perfect by Sally Kilpatrick (audiobook) – ★★★★ – see my review here.
Adam and Evie’s Matchmaking Tour by Nora Nguyen (audiobook) – ★★★★ – Debut romance, excellent on audio. Loved that this was set in Vietnam and had an element of culture to it, not just romance. A quick escape from the real world.
What next?:
After having cleared my NetGalley shelf for 2024, reading all the books, I’ve already added more for 2025…and it’s only the first full week of January.
