WWW Wednesday is hosted by Sam @ Taking on a World of Words. A weekly meme where all you have to do is answers the following three W’s:
What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?
Currently reading:
Swift and Saddled by Lyla Sage – STILL! Again I keep putting it down and getting side-tracked by other books. Lately, I find it so difficult to pick up my bedside book when I could be reading on my phone instead. Maybe I should hide my phone for the night and just finish it. I only have 80 pages to go.
Hex and the City by Kate Johnson – Book 2 in the Best Hex Ever Collection, a witchy romance series that I’m listening to on audio. Book 1, Hex Appeal, was immensely enjoyable – all the right vibes that I was expecting – and now I am planning on reading the series, one book after another.

Say You’ll Remember Me by Abby Jimenez – my next ARC and one that I was dying to receive, although every time I think about picking it up I break into Taylor Swift’s Wildest Dreams…..”standing in a nice dress, staring at the sunset babe…”
Recently finished:
The Electricity of Every Living Thing by Katherine May (audiobook) – ★★★ – I read this memoir as my first non-fiction read of the year, slotting nicely into the memoir/biography category of the Non-Fiction Reader Challenge #NonFicReadChal. I chose this book because I was hoping to relate to Katherine’s journey coming to terms with her ‘later’ in life realisation that she was autistic and some of the feelings that brought up. While I did recognise myself in some aspects of this book, other parts were too whiny, angry or blamey for me.
Powerful by Maisie Hill (paperback) – ★★★★ – this was a long read over a couple of months, starting in November of last year, made longer by all of my scribbling in the margins. This is not my first book by this author, having read Perimenopause Power last year. I enjoy her blend of science, psychology and straight talk aimed at empowering women in both their mental and reproductive health. I have even gifted my daughter her book Period Power which proved to be very helpful as she moved into her late teens, early 20s and started making her own decisions.
Boy with Wings by Mark Mustian (ARC) – ★★★★ – review to come.
Hex Appeal by Kate Johnson (audiobook) – ★★★★ – I picked this book up originally on audio because of the cute cover, then I realised there was a whole series all with cute covers…and now I’m hooked.

What next?:
I’m enjoying the Best Hex Ever Collection so much that I’m just reading them one after the other with Hex and Hexability being the third book. Hopefully I’ll start it this weekend.

What are your 3 Ws?
Feel free to share your link in the comments, I’d love to see what you’re reading.

I like the cover of Say You’ll Remember Me – very eye-catching.
