There was a sale!
Those who read my blog know that I had surgery last week and am facing a biggish recovery of 4 – 6 weeks. After 2 nights in hospital, hubby was able to bring me home under strict instructions to not let me do anything – a job he has wholeheartedly taken to heart. I’ve been spending my days walking gingerly from the bedroom to the lounge, napping and intermittently reading when I feel up to it.
Lolling about, scrolling FB, it was bought to my attention that Big W was having a 1/2 price sale on certain books. Within minutes I had a little cart happening and was heading to the checkout, sending hubby off to collect.
Books picked up:
All new-to-me authors with bright but kinda similar covers.
