Happy Sunday bookish peeps!
I’m sitting at my dining table with the sun pouring over my shoulder and it feels fabulous to be up and blogging again. While I’m still quite tender, I’m now able to move around the house a bit better and I’m finding myself needing less naps.
I’ve even managed to leave the house a couple of times. Although I’m not allowed to drive for another 3 weeks and I have to rely on others to take me places, it’s been nice to get out and about. Even if it was only to grab a few groceries.
Bookish things:
This week I’ve read 3 books, one of which was a non-fiction for the Non-Fiction Reader Challenge., giving me a good start towards my goals for the month. I’m halfway through a fourth book – Business Casual by B K Borison – that I started yesterday and will hopefully finish tonight. I’m loving this series and will be a bit sad when it’s over and I have to leave the small town of Inglewild.
- Best, First and Last by Amy T Matthews (ARC) – And now I’m so tempted to book a trip to Machu Picchu!
- Healthy Happy ADHD by Lisa Dee (Paperback) – Non-fiction, self-help, neurodivergence.
- Mixed Signals by B K Borison (Paperback) – Tugs at the heartstrings; read in a day.
Bookish Challenges:
2025 Goodreads Reading Challenge: 30/75 books
Audiobook Challenge: 12/50 audiobooks

It’s good you are being able to go out and do some things. I know that recovering from surgery is no easy feat.
