WWW Wednesday is hosted by Sam @ Taking on a World of Words. A weekly meme where all you have to do is answers the following three W’s:
What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?
Currently reading:
Great Big Beautiful Life by Emily Henry – Even though I’ve been busting to read the latest offering by this author, I’ve also been a little bit scared that it might not be everything that I’m expecting it to be. That’s why I’ve only just started listening to it today.
Wild Love by Elsie Silver – This is my bedtime read and so far I’m hooked. I even went to bed early last night so that I could have more time to read.
The Year That Changed Us by Helen Rolfe – This is a Kindle hanger-on. I’ve had it sitting there for so long that I’ve decided to read it during my lunch breaks and any other time I get to just look at my phone. It’s not a very long book so I’m hoping to have it finished in the next day or two.
Recently finished:
First Time Caller by B K Borison (paperback) – ★★★★ – Another fantastic romance novel by this author. Even though I was reluctant to pick it up, I’m so glad I did. I really enjoyed the radio station love-line setting and the slow burn between Aiden and Lucie. I’m looking forward to the next book in the series.
The Suite Life by Portia MacIntosh (e-book) – ★★★ – A light romance with a few giggles. This was my first time reading this author and I’m not opposed to pick up one of her other novels should I need something easy to read.
The House of my Mother by Shari Franke (audiobook) – ★★★★ – An extension of what Shari had already stated in the docuseries about her mother Ruby Franke. Surprisingly well-written and spoken by Shari herself. I don’t know how many times I would be able to speak about the atrocities in my childhood on a world stage. That takes courage.
Swept Away by Beth O’Leary (paperback) – ★★★ – I’ve got to say, it’s been a long time sine we’ve had a book by Beth O’Leary and I was disappointed. This was a long book with very little romance. The whole stranded at sea thing started out fine but then became over the top and unrealistic. I think I’m being kind giving this book 3 stars but let me know if you feel differently. .
What next?:
I probably need to start reading one of my ARCs. I just don’t know which one yet. Whichever one is due soonest, I guess.
What are your 3 Ws?
Feel free to share your link in the comments, I’d love to see what you’re reading.

I have mixed feelings about Beth O’Leary. Some I love and some I just don’t get.

I’ve enjoyed all of her other books beside this one. She’s an auto buy author for me…or was. I don’t know.

It’s not my book club but I agree it’s a great name. I do have a book club that I cohost with my friend and it’s called the Lost in Tomance book club.

I recently finished First Time Caller as well. I read it with The Swoony Readers book club and I loved it.

Sorry to hear that about Beth’s new book! I will lower my expectations a bit before picking it up!
