WWW Wednesday

WWW Wednesday is hosted by Sam @ Taking on a World of Words. A weekly meme where all you have to do is answers the following three W’s:

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

Currently reading:

Not much has changed this week due to being side-tracked by other things. I’m still reading Everything’s Coming Up Rosie by Courtney Walsh. This is an ARC so I am trying to stick it out but I really don’t like the FMC Rosie and I don’t really care how things work out for her. Similarly I’m not loving Unlikely Story by Ali Rosen. I’m listening to it on audio so I will continue over the next few days and should have it finished by Friday. Then, hopefully, I can move on to something I might enjoy more. The Ick by Holly McCulloch is still sitting on my bedside table unopened. I planned to read it but every night I crash into bed without picking it up.

Recently finished:

I only finished one book this week – One Two Three by Laurie Frankel – an audiobook that I was moved to read after listening to Family Family by the same author last week. I immediately downloaded it, pushing Unlikely Story back down the listening list. Since reading This is How it Always Is a few years ago, I’ve never forgotten how beautifully and thoughtfully written her characters are and these two books were no different. I hope to, eventually, read everything written by this author.

What next?:

It’s almost time to begin my #20booksofSummer reading list. I have no idea what book I will start with first but I’ve given myself a little room for mood reading by only choosing 10 books and leaving 10 free.
