WWW Wednesday

WWW Wednesday is hosted by Sam @ Taking on a World of Words. A weekly meme where all you have to do is answers the following three W’s:

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

Currently reading:

I currently have 3 books on the go at once – an ARC, an audiobook and a physical book. Happily I received the ARC for Slow Burn Summer by Josie Silver as a last minute grab before it’s publication on 17th July 2025. On audiobook I have just started No One was Supposed to Die at This Wedding by Catherine Mack which is the follow up to Every Time I Go on Vacation Someone Dies, a book that I wholeheartedly loved last year. And although it has been in my currently reading for a couple of weeks, I am determined to focus more on The Ick by Holly McCulloch. I think I may need to leave it somewhere out in the open where I see it all the time and it can grab my attention. I’ve been reluctant to do this because my new cat is a kleptomaniac and has a habit of taking things that don’t belong to her but in order to get this book read, I may have to.

Recently finished:

It has been a fortnight since my last WWW post and I have managed to get a lot of reading done in that time. The majority of my reading has been on audio because that’s what I’ve had the energy for. I listened to the entire Love Lines series by Cara Bastone which was gorgeous – so cute and romantic! I listened to The Love Haters by Katherine Center, which turned out to be everything I expected and love from this author. And I listened to Unlikely Story by Ali Rosen, a new-to-me author who I will most likely read again.

I finished (finally) my ARC – Everything’s Coming Up Rosie by Courtney Walsh. Not her best novel but I did manage to make it to the end, a feat that was uncertain at the beginning of the read.

What next?:

Beside doing my #20booksofSummer reading list, I feel like I should pick up a non-fiction book since I haven’t for a while and I have a few on my physical TBR pile.
