TBR Check-in – Kindle Edition – June 2025

It’s been a little over a month and a half since I had a look at my Kindle TBR, so it’s time to check-in on my progress or lack there of.

I’ve actually made fairly good progress on getting backlist books read – both on Kindle and audio. However this has given me the, possibly, misguided idea that it is safe to add new books to my TBR. Since my last check-in, I have read the final two backlist books from 2024, downloaded five new books and added two ARCs to my Kindle. This brings the total number of unread books on my Kindle to 9 books, which for many is not a lot but for me can quickly become overwhelming, hence my need to check-in. I do love to tick things off a list.

These books are part of my much bigger 2025 TBR, however I also have a tendency to pick up random books, not on my TBR, and prioritise reading them. Those books end up skipping the TBR altogether and go straight to my Goodreads Reading Challenge page.
