Happy Sunday bookish peeps!
My Weekly Bookish Wrap Up is linked with the Sunday Salon and the Sunday Post.
The Sunday Salon is a meme hosted by Readerbuzz and is a place to link up and share what you have been doing during the week. It’s also a great opportunity to visit other blogs and join in the conversations going on there. While the Sunday Post is a meme hosted by Caffeinated Reviewer and is a chance to share news. It’s a post to recap the past week on your blog and share news about what is coming up on your blog for the week ahead.

Non-bookish things:
We did it! We picked up hubby’s new car yesterday then took our traditional new car drive around the beaches. We grabbed a nice breakfast out and did a little shopping…something we haven’t done in a while. It was great to spend the day together, out and about, but we both came home exhausted and crashed on the couch with crumpets for tea.
Tonight is my family’s autumn birthday celebration. I’ve mentioned in the past that we celebrate all birthdays seasonally, getting together four times a year for a meal and cake. This time we are headed to a country pub I’ve always wanted to go to, but have never gotten to yet. I’m looking forward to the catch up with my kids and my sisters and their families and a good pub meal.
After watching Sirens last week, I was hoping to find another series that I could binge, deciding to watch Ransom Canyon on Netflix. I love a good small town country romance/drama…both to read and watch.
Bookish things:
This week I got entirely side-tracked by audiobooks. After finishing Finlay Donovan is Killing It by Elle Cosimano, I decided to read the Once Upon a Time Bookshop Stories, one after the other. They were only about an hour each on audiobook, faster if you up your speed and were an easy read.
I’m still reading my ARC for Slow Burn Summer by Josie Silver and I’m about a third of the way through The Ick by Holly McCulloch. I’m definitely struggling to pick up and actual book or my Kindle, being exhausted by the end of the day.

Bookish Challenges:
2025 Goodreads Reading Challenge: 64/75 books (85%)
Audiobook Challenge: 31/50 audiobooks (62%)
Non Fiction Reader Challenge: 5/12 books (42%)
And that’s my bookish week. How was yours?

I love your families tradition of celebrating birthday’s 4 times a year. Nicely done. Always fun to have a new car. I hope you enjoy it.
