WWW Wednesday

WWW Wednesday is hosted by Sam @ Taking on a World of Words. A weekly meme where all you have to do is answers the following three W’s:

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

Currently reading:

I started one of my ARCs – Clementine Crane Prefers Not To by Kristin Bair – and I’m loving it. It’s witty, a smidge relatable and the perfect read before I go to bed. I think I’ll miss it when I’ve finished reading it. Luckily I’m only a third of the way through so I’ve probably got a few more nights with Clem.

On audio I’m listening to The Ex-Wives Club by Sally Hepworth. It’s just over an hour long and I have about 20 minutes left. A lot has happened so far with more to come I expect and I’m fascinated. I love Sally Hepworth as a writer, so this is bound to be a hit.

Recently finished:

I haven’t posted my WWW for a fortnight, and in that time I’ve read 6 books.

I finished Every Summer After by Carley Fortune and followed that up with her latest release One Golden Summer. Both were so good that I want to read everything else by this author.

I finally read The Ick by Holly McCulloch and wish I hadn’t left it so long to pick it up. It sat on my bedside table for weeks while I struggled to to read anything in print.

I listened to the next book in the Finlay Donovan series – Finlay Donovan Knocks ‘Em Dead. Loved it but also felt cringy about it. I’m determined to finish the series but I’ll be picking up other books in between each new book.

And I read two ARCs – The Woman Who Met Herself by Laura Pearson and Slow Burn Summer by Josie Silver. Loved, loved, loved both but I expected that would be the case, given who the authors are.

What next?:

I’m due for another Finlay Donovan audiobook and my new bedside read is probably going to be What If I Never get Over You by Paige Toon.
