Currently reading:

I’m still reading The Menopause Brain by Lisa Mosconi PhD and expect to be for a little while. Being a non-fiction, it doesn’t have the same capacity for holding my attention as some of my other books. I’m deeply involved in reading He Would Never by Holly Wainwright and am hoping to finish it tonight. While on audio, I’m listening to the second book in the Modern Folktales series – Folk Around and Find Out by Penny Reid. It’s even better than the first book, so good in fact that I might have to change my star rating to add in half stars. It’s almost but not quite a five star read – the romance is perfect, the steamy scenes are sizzling and I have laughed out loud more than I expected.

Recently finished:

I’ve had a slower reading week as I have been learning a new crochet pattern on YouTube, and it’s taking a great deal of concentration. I did manage to finished The Undertaking of Hart and Mercy by Megan Bannen and What if I Never Get Over You by Paige Toon.

What next?:

I will definitely be listening to the last book in the Modern Folktales series before the end of the week but I’m not sure which new bedside book I’ll be choosing from my physical tbr pile.
